Reddit — the corporation — has a sitewide rule against inciting violence.
The volunteer moderators across most of the reputable subreddits, about five years ago, all decided that this would be applied as prohibiting any speech that glorifies or otherwise approves of homicide.

Subreddit moderators lose mod privileges if they — through action or inaction — allow a subreddit to be used to violate the acceptable use policy, egregiously, regularly, etc.
