Oh, AHS accepted fewer contributions & eventually went into static / archive mode because when Reddit adopted a rule in the Mod Code of Conduct that made mods responsible for the things their subs were used for, they had taken responsibility for the entire trust & safety silo.

Hate groups get handled no matter what language they use; harassment groups trying to jebait can't use a volunteer effort to farm eyeballs; they can't make infinite spinoff subreddits. Confidential reporting covering malfeasant mods was what we needed and asked for.

As far as I know, I'm the only one who lost access to anything, and it was losing access to the HTTP API queries I'd built for PushShift. When they forced PushShift to auth everyone, they killed the HTTP API there. And the query webpage they replaced it with isn't robust.

So I had to rewrite a couple hundred queries.
Which … we don't even need any longer, tbqh. Subreddits are getting shuttered for hosting hate speech without any of us running a reporting campaign; people are reporting them direct to admins.
