1) Implying that antifascist researchers just lie or misuse "nazi" as a term, is silly and trivially disprovable, although commonly repeated among conservative dopes. Like do you really think anyone serious still gets taken in by that dismissal?

2) "Why do anything?" Uh, distributed social sanction via public identification by researchers is just how civil society holds nazis and male feminists in check. Tolerating folks defecting from the social norm on this is how fascists are able to creep into spaces and corrupt them before seizing power.
