I have lived a half century on this Earth. My earliest memories of technology were of B&W TVs, radio receivers the size of cedar chests, mechanical typewriters & computers that filled a room & required their own A/C units.

The device I hold now could run an entire multinational corporation in 1975.

In 1st grade I was expected to know cursive longhand. Again, in 3rd grade, in 1983.

I remember the first time I used the Internet, thru a FIDOnet relay, to send an electronic mail from a dial-up BBS to someone. It used bang paths.

My freshman month in Uni was September 1993.
