I'll just go ahead and nip this one in the bud because there's plenty to actually worry about. ASCII maps 128 (2^7) characters to binary in groups. They started the letters at position 2^6 (midpoint of 128). So A is 65 (64+1). X is just 64+24 which happens, not for Nazism reasons, to be 88.
