Cumskin appreciates his local Sexy Indian dudes, other Sexy Indian dudes rush to tell him why he is wrong

https://old.reddit.com/r/india/comments/13nx3us/indian_customer_appreciation_post_from_restaurant?sort=controversial

OP doesn’t know that most of us have social anxiety and hence one or two do the talking. We are also bad at making eye contact for you to be kept waiting. Also the reason we don’t make absurd requests is because we know the food is going to meh anyway and that we have wonderful food at home. Anyway, I will take your innocence.

:marseyreluctant:

Yea us Indians aren't known for tipping generously. Wish we did that better

Praise me yt massa pozz me pls :marseybegging: :marseygoatse:

Meanwhile I was at this cafe a couple of weeks ago where an Indian dude was going on giving a trillion orders to the server and then walked right into the kitchen. Dude wanted his avocado sometjing exactly how he wanted. Once he stepped out we could hear the cooks and wait staff cussing hi behind his back for being such a picky jerk. Indians are no less in being downright entitled at times. This was in Mumbai.

Lol avocado :marseyxd: Eat mutt food, act like a mutt.

I assume you are white. I used to work as a waiter while in college, and I hated serving Indian customers. They would snap their finger at me, would drive me insane. And they give very little tips, if they tip at all. Maybe like in India, they feel they should be nice to the firangi while it's ok to be rude to their own.

'Their own' lol. I'm not a filthy Sexy Indian dude like you :marseysteaming: But why won't you treat me as a fellow? :marseypleading2:

Coz maybe one or two are fluent enough to spell out the orders.

Bhangi projecting

:marseymanysuchcases:

OP says he's an American, so they're probably talking about serving Indian immigrants in the US, where it's customary to tip, but Indian immigrants have a reputation for being "cheap" and not tipping. Tbh, OP is the first American service worker I've heard say something nice about Indians; usually, Americans say Indians are the "worst" to serve or work with.

:marseybootlicker:

For reddit wagies fricking lmao.

American servers consider tip a right. In India the servers are expected to serve portions on the plate and then come back when that’s devoured. All that service and tips are still not customary. In America, tips are demanded and not expected.

Lol other than fine dining places no waiter serves your food and in those people definitely tip.

Indians do make absurd requests. Many Indian chefs have said that.

Source do you have a source?

:soyjakanimeglasses:

i remember the first time a starbucks opened here in Bangalore and I went. the guy at the counter was asking 100 questions on how to make my coffee, I am like just fricking give my coffee like they do in darshinis.

:marseyhesright:

Happened with me at subway. Never visited one again.

You should post this in /r/serverlife They have a very different view there

Wow!! Just went there. That place is incredibly racist and entitled.

Service industry is harsh. Sometimes people become jaded💁🏻‍♀️

I remember when covid first hit some yt streamer took a video of some poorstrag manual labourer calling him corona and telling him to get out and all these r-slurred yt peepeesuckers were condemning how racist he was being. A guy who has to actually earn his bread daily(as in starve if he can't) losing work for months, having to walk home thousands of kilometers isn't justified in a single outburst at someone he believes, however unjustified that might be, to be the cause. But some cumskin working 4 hours a day earning more than most unskilled positions in even his first world country(which is like 50 times what the labourer does) is totally justified for chimping out about the few cases where he can't make bank. That isn't racist, he just has it so hard guys :marseysulk:

But why is this wholesome post tagged as rant/vent??

Because that's the only thing /r/india does with text posts kek :marseyxd:

Norm in the US if you want to take the leftovers is to just let your server know and they will get you a couple of takeaway boxes to pack it yourself

Interesting, it's expected to pay servers tips and yet customers need to pack their own food?

:marseyburger: :marseylaugh:

That’s because in US you’re actually paying the salary and not a tip. American waiting staff has to deal with below minimum wage pay and expect tips.

You mean I can employ yts below minimum wage(ie basically enslave them) if I don't tip? :marseyexcited:

Portions in the US are usually too large for me (about double the average portion served in India). Most of the time we end up splitting a dish between a couple of us, or we need a takeout box.
