Honestly, I am quite anti-independence guy. We could have been Hong Kong had we not taken independence for another 70 years. But, zameendaar politicians had plans of their own. And if you are a PTI supporter I would suggest that you look at assets of key leaders of PTI. You will be surprised. Shireen Mazari, whose daughter doesn't stop crying about capitalism on her Twitter, is a major landlady. SMQ owns thousands of acres in area where an acre now costs millions. Imran Khan's sister recently purchase 500+ acres in Thal Desert before canal system could be bult there under Greater Thal Canal's next phase. Pervez Khattak used to be a normal guy in Manki Sharif. now within 10 years of PTI's term owns commercial plazas n Rawalpindi, Peshawar and Nowshera.

I've never understood the comparison with India. India has always been strategically on the path of economic development, whereas the Pakistani government has been focused on political power struggles. People are appeased with religious comfort pills. This outcome was predictable even ten years ago.

Pakistan is a failed state. India is opening up Tesla and Apple factories while Pakistan is too busy losing wars and engaging in useless political engineering.

Pak "gov" can try treating the Baluchs fairly then attacks might not happen, you don't see Punjabis picking up guns against the state for a reason.
