I'm kind of surprised China was that far ahead of us even in 1965 tbh no wonder they took off like they did. If they were then where we are now with zero contact with westoid capitali etc that's a massive industrial base to spring board from once the investments started coming in. :marseythinkorino: Yet their GDP/capita figures were similar to our's, which would imply what agriculture was far less productive? :marseyhmm: I don't think its possible to be much less productive than the Indian peasant per capita and not starve but then again lots of Chinamen did so :marseyshrug:

I punched her in the face. She was a disgusting person to look at and smelled, and she's obviously an entitled, ignorant redneck. It was easy, because she kept saying 'I'm doing a PhD, I'm doing a PhD!', and I just kept replying, "Yes, we all know that, but what are you doing? What is your degree in? Are you going to get another one?" She kept saying "I'm doing a PhD" over and over.

And in the end I walked out and said, "Enjoy the rest of your stay here, redneck."
