I get a consistent 100 Mbps with BSNL but the problem is whenever there is, say, a festival or some unexpected weather condition, there is a looong downtime of atleast 1 day. I get good internet with BSNL, I just hate the downtime.
Should I switch to JioFiber? It happens to be available in my locality and I don't know if JioFiber has the amount of downtime BSNL does every once in a while.

Bsnl literally stopped all services in my locality of the third largest city in the country lmao. Get jio, they've always addressed all my complaints within a day, same day if I complained before like 2 or 3 in the noon, plans are similar or slightly cheaper and downtime has been nonexistent.

+1 for Jio. Switched two months ago from Airtel just as a trial run. I think I'll stay. Haven't had a single dropped connection so far. Getting full speed as advertised.
Best of all, the Jio app is way better than the clusterfrick that is the Airtel Thanks app. I've already ported one of my phones to Jio. Thinking about doing the same for the rest of the family.
Reliance clearly spent of a lot of money developing their products and it shows. I haven't seen this good of a service even in the US.

I guess it depends on the area a lot, in our area Jio is absolute trash. with pings around 100+ to SEA servers. my neighbour has Jio and is planning to get airtel xstream after seeing my pings. His lag over his work vpn is just abysmal. he tried on my wifi and he was overjoyed. Been or airtel for 3 years now, 200mbit plan, pay yearly for that 15% discount. downtime was like max 15mins this year. There is also the CGNAT bullshit with Jio which I will refuse to accept. I get a public IP with airtel and I can put my xbox in the dmz and not worry about connection issues
