Some recipes can be nice but its rare to find them in a typical 'Indian' restaurant. 'Indian' cuisine in the west is mostly just poonjabi cuisine. But poonjabis all eat meat.

I lived near Brampton, Canada for years (probably the most Indian place in North America) so might be more varied, but yeah I wouldn't be able to tell the difference tbh

Yeah that's new punjab isn't it lol. Even here most standard restaurants have punjabi food, people have this weird belief that when you're eating out it has to be spicy food.

Mostly positive, Sikhs and Jains are our model minorities and there's a lot of overlap religiously(like dual use pilgrimages). But not for the separatists they mostly are. Those attacked civilians to force 40% of the people living in punjab(Punjabi Hindus) to get out so they could have a theocratic ethno state.
