The mandir was built in the Nagaradi style using 68,000 cubic feet of Italian Carrara marble. The marble obtained from quarries in Europe was shipped to Rajasthan, India where hundreds of artisans carved the stones.

Its how marble pieces in the market work ig. Agra had some fine pieces.

Stuff like Khajuraho or Konark just isn't made anymore. The whole school is dead. :marseydepressed: I wish handoos would sponsor some forming up again, it'd be costly but instead of spamming ugly temples everywhere it'd be great if we could start adorning the ones in actual use with sculptures like they used to be.
