The telangana election was also a huge upset. my friends group and some of my family members are really really salty today. its fun watching them lose their heads on coming up things about how congress will ruin TS and Hyderabad

literally the point of separation was development of Telangana and mainly its rural areas which were neglected in unified AP. which is exactly what happened in the last 10 years and people are :marseyraging: and voted congress. Now both states are gonna become welfare states and its gonna suck for a while (AP is already a welfare bihar)

BTW how sustainable do you think the lift irrigation project is? I was reading about it recently and it doesn't seem fiscally sound at all, IDK what loan repayment terms are but it seems like it'd cuck any capex govt can do for next two decades minimum.

TRS, basically the city of Hyd supported BRS (Formerly known as TRS) and all the rural votes went to Congress. Same shit happened with TDP and Congress back then too. Family and friends were originally and still all TDP supporters but since TDP faded into black they shifted to BRS (Formerly known as TRS)
