I think he's happy that the highway got built but lamenting all the people who relied on the backcountry road traffic through their towns to sell things and how they've had to pack up and leave now they've been bypassed.

they should go a step further and bypass all towns and villages that are currently on national highways. they are nothing but death traps with people jumping onto the road with 100kph traffic. And ban two wheelers on anything equal or above a national highway

I got fined 1000 for going 80 on a three lane road cause it was defined as city limits.
They should've kept the bikes off expressways at least yeah but you know that's politically impossible.
