Congress has always been status quo party birathar if you remember pre 2014 even wymyn empowerment rhetoric was much more subdued. They glorify dehat. They pack their party with dehati caste kangers with 80 IQ. Gandhi wanted all of India to be an eternal unchanging dehat and that's what his loyal slaves ensured for next 50 years. Paobhaji have always been the comparatively progressive party. The M issue is only reason paobhaji is classified right and they left. Otherwise foid nonsense is always top 5 in their agenda, now they also love lgtv, they want to urbanize and mostly loathe institutions of old India like caste(ideologically, despite their actual use of it in elections). They aren't even really religious, losing Ayodhya has made half of them start sperging out at the whole place like petulant children.

Wouldn't a trve caste-based party in India have to have all its MPs be Kshatriyas and Brahmins but its leadership position only Kshatriyas?

The 4 varna system has never been practised in India AFAIK. Southern India doesn't have any Kshatriyas or Vaishyas but had expansive empires and prominent trader/business communities/castes.

So where does it come from? Or is it more a religious ideal from the before times?

We can't really trace its true origins. Maybe it did exist in whatever ancient tribe who became Indians that we know today. A historian buddy of mine thinks the 4 varna system was just Vedic writers poorly describing the social structure of their times.

This isn't me saying caste and caste inequality doesn't exist btw. It's just that it's better to look at the individual tribes/jatis and their history than to blindly assume their social status through the varna system.

No one in history has ever believed in a society like that every man wants to be king and in a democracy you have thousands of kings so everyone wants one of his breed. That soyciety existed when Kshatriyas could still dominate in war and Brahmins provided ideological backing not when both are wageslaving 9 to 5s after studyceling first quarter of their life.

It's over.

But yeah makes sense. So what do you mean by the BJP not keeping to caste?

You're perpetuating harmful language even after being told it's harmful. If you don't understand why it's harmful, or my very clear explanations aren't good enough for you, look it up. Maybe someone else will be able to teach you how not to be rude, but you clearly aren't actually engaging in my argument, so I'm done with you.

Seriously, though, try and be better. And look it up if you don't understand what I'm saying, because this is a real issue and ignoring it after it's been revealed to you would make you willfully ignorant, rather than just the not knowing something type of ignorant, which everyone is about hundreds of topics, and is not a bad thing. Being unwilling to learn when you discover there might be an issue is exactly one of the main problems that perpetuates the patriarchy and racism. It's easier to be a bigot than to correct your thinking, I get it, but just try.
