I guess that's based on expectations? Most hotels here will have the bottom two options (just room or room and continental breakfast) and then you can choose to get a meal in the hotel restaurant separately for the other meals if you want

Yeah same here but this one is in a very isolated place so it probably makes more sense to book all meals from start.

I know for India often the hotel food is more trusted as well. At work if we have to travel to India we are told not to eat outside of the hotel or conference facilities to reduce the risk of getting sick
