Don't need to sort by controversial. Just start scrolling:

Geopolitics is not for people who get humiliated by little things like these. There will be worse crisis in the future. Indians need to be more thick skinned.

If you feel bad about your country's agency trying to assassinate targets in the US and how this might be a bad geopolitical decision, that makes you thin skinned.

Lol. It's the same as what Americans did with Russian, Cubans, Mexicans, Chinese, and Japanese in the 1950s, 1960s, 1970s, 1980s, 1990s, and 2000s. Now it's India's Turn.

The USA got to do it. Mom says it's our turn doing the assassinations now.

The amount of assassinations Mossad and CIA has carried out on foreign soil will bamboozle you, OP. Everything is justified when it's your enemy at the receiving end.

Everything is justified when you act against the enemy. Don't worry about repercussions from global powers, that is for small fry countries like New Zealand or Namibia.

We call them anti nationals for a reason. It's not politics or Bhakti that makes Indians call Congress anti nationals but it's their behaviour that makes us do that. After a very long time a government showed spine and even if the guy gets caught it becomes a win win situation for India as the western countries who were in denial about this whole issue will have to face the mainstream heat about sheltering these terrorists but all congress can see is their political agenda. These people are pathetic.

The opposition party is anti nationalist for criticizing an assassination attempt on foreign soil. You must support all assassination attempts of your country if you are not a traitor.

Fricking Rwanda routinely assassinates actual dissidents, not terrorists abroad. Anyone who opposes killing terrorists is indeed a traitor.

Whats to own up, this is too minute of an incident to actually change much if America has infact decided to turn on us they'd have done it regardless over human rights concerns or some other nonsense, American state department has been diligently building up the case for that since Modi came to power. Our people loved pretending DoD was on our side but that's an obvious attempt at building dependence, just like no NATO country can go to war without america's permission our military too will be dead in water if mutt components become too significant. Mutt departments don't fight each other, they aren't a banana republic, they work in tandem.

Incidentally the DEA agent american citizen who planned 26/11 attacks still lives comfy in some mutt jail. 175 dead. Khalistan itself is a 100% five eyes op HQd in kanneda. Keeling them in five eyes is only proper.

Because those people are used by US govt to attack Indian people on Indian soil.

Looks like dude mostly talks big and does frick all. Idk man, I still think having an arrest warrant from India was good enough. Dude seems to have no actual power to be a threat.

Yes unironically? He is already on the terrorist list and would be extradited to India first chance Indians get. Trying to assassinate him on US soil is going overboard when we haven't had any actual pro Khalistani violence in ages.

Farmer protest and Amritpal are all rumblings of something much darker and govt would be wise to nip it in the bud instead of letting it explode into another bout of civil war. Assassinating some people abroad is small cost to pay for that.

I would need proof of that unless some guy in the US saying pubjab should secede is all it takes.

That they have reactivated support is conjecture based on the Canadian PM's open interference in a protest that served as obvious facade for resurgent Khalistanism, the more charitable interpretation being he did it at American behest(rather than to satisfy a micro minority interest group which if true is simply pathetic). Canadian establishment is now studded with such radicals, at high and low levels, and we have just cause to eliminate people trying to balkanize us, where ever they may live. Unlike Americans we can't send drones so we'll send assassins. Rest of world can seethe and cope.

My brother in fries. The crime is from 1979 as per the article. That's 45 years ago when this guy was an actual threat. India wanting to still punish him is all fine and good but I still don't see how an assassination attempt on US soil is worth it to get after a guy who fricked around 45 years ago as an actual threat and since then can only make objections he cannot follow up on. For which again India has already declared him a terrorist since 2020.

Having evidence and information of activities are two separate things, from how rare such events are and how bureaucratic security structure is at the central level there was cause to go after him. Extradition requests have been ignored forever, inc with David Headley the guy who planned Mumbai attacks, and we have no reason to believe they'd be respected at any point in future.
