I'm usually equally disgusted by simps and the foids that encourage their behavior but in this case I'm strongly on the side of the "simp." He shot his shot, which is good, and 40km isn't too too far anyway. If he does this habitually that's another thing but as a one off attempt to woo m'lady this doesn't seem crazy.
The foid is the real b-word here, making her rejection public under the guise of being nice and supportive to her "friend."
