I mean, I wouldn't be surprised if he was a Muslim, but having an Al Qaeda training manual doesn't mean he's a Muslim. If you want to commit acts of terrorism, why not get an Al Qaeda manual? If I go buy a military training manual written by a member of the Irish Republican Army, that doesn't necessarily mean that I support Irish republicanism.

The suspect is 18 years old. Al Qaeda has been famous in his lifetime, the other more local terrorists are practically ancient history for someone his age.
