Ads for suicide that show people celebrate and enjoy their life has to be the most absurd propaganda I have ever seen.

Amyways, all those strags are such cute twinks. What they want is to offload the weight of the choice on some doctor because they're too kitty to finish it themselves. If you want to keep yourself safe, no one is gonna be able to stop you.

Fundamentally its just a dystopian view on life and society though, imo. And with everything we know about regret and mental illness, its just absolutely debased. Its just that no one that has gone through with it can voice their regret.

I think it's mostly/ideally for people in hospice or basically terminal personal people that need $10k/week in care to stay alive. Ads in subway showing lively people is quite concerning though

If you're in hospice you've withdrawn most care by definition. You require good and consistent nursing to keep up on pain meds, avoid bed sores, etc, but you're not getting expensive treatments.

Let's be real. These ghouls want to pressure and guilt people to off themselves before they even get to that point so it's cheaper and more convenient for them.

Dying is a natural process and part of a transition the body is made for. We know how to make it surprisingly comfortable; even if there can still be really tough parts like terminal agitation I have no desire to sugar coat. But one of the big reasons we do it (besides intrinsic respect for life) is because we recognize as soon as we make it a 'choice' not only will butthole family members start pressuring the dying to speeding things up, the government will start pressing people too. Nor will it take long for mission creep to happen and the push to offer euthanasia to all sorts of people. Just look at the fricking Cannucks. You don't want that future.

If the gov gave a frick about people they'd spend this advertising money investing into good hospice nursing or helping families take more leave to do at home hospice.

Maybe they're the relatives saving 10k a week as a result of the government sanctioned euthanasia.
