Comments are fun. The usual 'muh NHS', and a bit of cope, though I agree that Reform needs a looot more votes. Their base is spread out - Lib Demons got 71 seats to their 5 despite 600k fewer votes.

If you click on and read the full results, they are far less promising from Reform UK than the headline suggests: they are only polling 17% in the 18-24 year group, behind even the Greens.

Consider this fact and then ponder the effects of two changes: 1. The Labour government is planning to enfranchise 16 & 17 year-olds. Presumably, they'll be even more strongly against Reform than those slightly older; and, 2. The Reform vote peaks for the very eldest. Although I am a humane person and do not want anyone to die, the 'natural churn' of voters being born and dying is against Reform.

they want 16-17 year olds to vote :marseyemojilaugh:

I keep seeing a rec'd 'alt-right pipeline' video and it has Farage in the thumbnail.

These lefty soylennials have no idea how good they've had it, and watching them melt over the next 10 years will be hilarious.

They did it in Scotland and it ended up having no meaningful impact as 16 year olds don't actually turn out to vote like the SNP were hoping.
