He is not right, just the margin for error got smaller. If I remember right, some psycho mass murders used to get caught doing some nasty stuff and then just moved states and started life anew. When your gap in resume bars you from re-entering white collar, and overqualification means that blue collar jobs are sceptical of your intentions and housing prices keep growing and once you fall, you may never get up.

Yes it's actually much worse. I don't even speak to females anymore unless I have to. One time I sat at a grocery store for an hour and listened to the entirety of dopesmoker because the self checkout was out of order and the only cashier was female.
