Question. When you give them that dry bath powder, do the chinq's roll around in it and then dart around the parameter of the room at full speed, like they're hooked up on meth. I remember my chinchilla doing that, but I'm trying to find videos of other chinq's doing it, and I'm started to suspect that was just a unique thing only he did.

Yeah I know the rolling part seems to be pretty universal. When I was a kid, we used to sit in the bathroom as a family and give him baths. He would roll around, but then he would dart around the entire room, running across everyone's arms over the tops of their shoulders and laps. He was like a rocket. I was trying to show someone a video of this behavior, but I guess our chinchilla just had a unique quirk. Many fond memories of those dustbaths.
