Would be interesting to know if the dog genuinely didn't like the puppies, or if the dog corrected puppy behavior firmly (but not aggressively) and a conflict-averse tard interpreted that as "irreconcilable differences". Unless one of the dogs is one of the shit antisocial breeds, dogs are generally more patient with puppies, and puppies are usually okay with corrections from older dogs.
