Solution:

Time yourself. Set it at 5 mins, 10 mins, or 30 mins depending on what time feels long enough to do something but not too short to be too repetitive. Helps create a sense of mild urgency without being an emergency. Do as many tasks in the set time as you can. Repeat timer everytime it rings and try to do as much as you can in the next ten minutes. It keeps you grounded, moving, and doesn't give you time to zone out or get too distracted.

My recommended timer is 10 minutes because you can get most simple tasks done in 10 mins or 4-5 very short tasks in 10 minutes, or a piece of a long task done in 10 minutes.
