We also have walnuts trees planted randomly in the city here and I saw crows drop walnuts on the streets so that passing cars will crush them under their tires They also keep stealing food people leave for stray cats
I raised a baby magpie once, they are horribly destructive. And they have an obsession with storing food in stupid places. My r-slurred magpie would steal dirt from potted plants and hide it between the couch pillows I assume other corvids are similar.
They are really cute but require a lot of attention. It might be easier if you have a yard though. A commie apartment is definitely not fit for raising corvids
Owls are unironically r-slurred as far as birds go. They can barely be trained. They used 16 owls in the first harry potter movie, usually for only one trick each.
I fricking love ravens. Whenever you look into their eyes, it's like you get one another. There's a soul and intelligence behind it. I throw them dog treats when I'm out every now and then, hopefully I'll get to a point where I have a personal avian army to unleash on my enemies.
