You can make bits of the Bible mean anything you want if you take them completely out of context. For example:
2 Kings 2:23-24
"He went up from there to Bethel, and while he was going up on the way, some small boys came out of the city and jeered at him, saying, "Go up, you baldhead! Go up, you baldhead!" ...and he cursed them in the name of the Lord. Then two female bears came out of the woods and tore forty-two of the boys."
Without any context, or knowledge of the Bible, imagine what you could make of that.
He went up from there to Bethel; and as he was going up by the way, there came forth young lads out of the city, and mocked him, and said to him, Go up, you baldy; go up, you baldhead. He looked behind him and saw them, and cursed them in the name of Tʜᴇ Lᴏʀᴅ. There came forth two she-bears out of the wood, and mauled forty-two lads of them.
1. Disrespect towards God and the Church is not allowed here.
2. We honor the dignity of life from the womb to the tomb.
3. Debate about Scripture, tradition, politics, etc. are allowed when they do not directly contradict rule 1 (controversial history is an open topic when people are respectful).
4. Trolling, coomerisms, and poorly attempted humor may receive the mop at the discretion of those in charge.
5. Pray for your family, pray for your community, pray for your nation, and pray for rDrama.net. We need it! Prayer works!
