Edward Pentin, the National Catholic Register's longtime senior Rome correspondent, released a book in August 2020 called "The Next Pope: The Leading Cardinal Candidates." In it, he lists 19 cardinals that he considers frontrunners, including some American candidates such as Cardinal Seán Patrick O'Malley, former archbishop of Boston, or Cardinal Raymond Leo Burke, who was previously archbishop of St. Louis, Missouri.
1. Disrespect towards God and the Church is not allowed here.
2. We honor the dignity of life from the womb to the tomb.
3. Debate about Scripture, tradition, politics, etc. are allowed when they do not directly contradict rule 1 (controversial history is an open topic when people are respectful).
4. Trolling, coomerisms, and poorly attempted humor may receive the mop at the discretion of those in charge.

The African cardinals tend to be conservatives about gay people and s*x, but there is a financial incentive to woo westerners. Some of the American and European parishioners provide as much revenue as an entire parish in Africa. I would not expect a conservative pope to necessarily come in and purge all the libs, especially if it could imperil finances they're using to expand the church.
I might expect a third world Pope to excommunicate JD Vance for teaching heresy, however.
