Opioids can cause anger arousal and irritability. Depends on the person and the specific drug, but there's a bunch of ways I could see it happening. For me, when coming down from opioids (or rarely, when coming up,) I can get pretty pissed off at very slight annoyances.
A majority of opioids also release histamine, which causes you to itch and causes an inflammatory response, face flushing, and 'wakefulness' that may lead to higher blood pressure (?), which all combined can make you feel mad.

Yea that's called addiction and withdrawal. So before you "come up" (your nervous system has recognized it fully) you feel irritable because of a sort of a tension that exists within you in relation to the drug. This is a result of addiction 100 percent. And this guy is getting that feeling because he is likely doing weaker shit than his nervous system is used to.
I would agree but I know what withdrawal feels like, and I have it often enough that I can recognize it very quickly. I get irritable when getting near to the time I usually take my nightly dose, obviously, but a few minutes after the drug hits my stomach I (sometimes, not always) get flushed and my blood pressure rises, I start to itch a bunch, and I get pissed at every little thing until the analgesic effect kicks in.
Pretty shit anecdote tbh because I have a variety of unrelated stomach issues and allergy issues (genetic, had them for 10+ years) and my body probably just doesn't tolerate this shit anymore.

Ok well you know how your own body reacts, Im not trying to tell you different. I personally dont have experience with opiate addiction tho I have used them. I was coming from the perspective of alcohol abuse and how when you are in too deep even just getting a couple drinks in actually makes you feel worse until you get to your "normal" dose
I have to say what you are describing is awfully similar. When you get that first dose even when your body is absorbing it it kinda "rebels" at first for lack of a better word

I am a 49 year old black man My wife left me 12 years ago and my 2 daughters twerk in the background of DaBaby music videos and my sons a 6 9 piece of shet that can't even do basketball. Instead he spends money on white women on the internet. I am losing money because I got fired from my construction job for having s*x with another builder on site. This is my situation and this is why I am on rdrama.net
Try not to get the capy in trouble -- don't give direct sources for shit that's considered illegal in the US (clearnet research chems and etc. should be fine)
