edit: going back over this to make things more clear
took a lot of acid (roughly 3 gels, so around 700ug) and sat in near total darkness. I brought in a pen and paper and a speaker, didnt expect much but was still very curious. if anyone is interested I can post photos of the symbols/iconography this experience inspired in me.
four hours later:
Genuinely terrified
got literal fnaf style jump scares from demons that emerged from my own imaginations on the wall. I would hallucinate a face, it would jump out and make my physically jump.
Felt like a malevolent, evil force was surrounding me. Seemed like it took an immense level of mental strength to just exist without crawling up into a ball.
I actually thought that I was talking to a demon, and that I had made a huge mistake. moments where I could quite literally hear a voice in my mind that didnt sound like me, didnt talk like me, and said things I wouldn't say.
overall, maybe would recommend? This is probably the most vivid visual experience ive ever had, like, ever. Absolutely the closest thing you can have to a religious experience. And mentally it brought me straight up to the brink of insanity. Even as I type this there are eyes and faces in the dark behind my screen.

I know this sounds bad, but honestly I sincerely recommend this experience if you aren't a kitty. I found that what I was seeing generally played into my own mentality (i.e. if I was more scared, the faces would become more scary and jump at me, if I was calmer, they reverted back to a more typical predictable pattern). Once I was able to sort of grasp this, I had a moment that I know will stay with me forever. I had been in one corner of the room, and the dark shapes opposite me in the other corner away from the window. I eventually stood up, feeling literally surrounded by demon faces and feeling soaked in water (probably some of my sweat), walked over, and sat in the position directly across from me. At that point I had an uneasy internal peace that I still can't really explain, even while demon faces swirled all over the walls and in my vision.
I got away from the point here but I would 100% recommend this. I'm coming away from it with a large mind over matter feeling.

I've had a lot of really good bad trips, but they stopped being good at one point and just kept me uncomfortable for a few days or just felt like a weird waste of time. (The good trips started feeling like a weird waste of time too, which is partly why I stopped.) Been thinking about trying again some time, but stuff like this I don't really have time for.
