The Korean War Week 003 - Never Fear, MacArthur's Here! - July 9, 1950

I haven't watched it much, but my dad described it as "What people who never went to Vietnam imagine they would have been like in Vietnam" and that was the most hard-hitting denunciation of a TV show that I'll ever hear in my life.

I do appreciate though that Alan Alda went on Futurama(?) where he was robot, and on his back he had a switch between "slapstick" and "maudlin". I guess he's at least self-aware.

Due to this show I have the unshakeable belief that the Korean countryside looks exactly like the hills outside of LA.

I've seen less than 30 seconds of MASH but it's up its own butt and you're bad for liking it.
