Is it really dramatic? Then just put it in the main feed.
Is it chuddy? (Be honest.) Then /h/chudrama.
Is it from back in old boomer times or before?
This is the place for it.
Feel free to talk about history here at
whatever level of seriousness you feel like.

Why is a Bible writing "common era" just use Anno Domini you fricks
A friend of mine thought AD meant After (Jesus's) Death lol.
that's what I thought when I was 10
It would be funny if our date system which is focused entirely around jesus christ, completely skipped the 33 years he was alive
It's weird enough we skipped from 1 BC to 1 AD tbh
Look, if we had our pants buttoned properly to go to Sunday school that was a good day. Don't expect us to be Thomas Aquinas.
Everyone did.
You ever notice that every kid had the same bad assumption? There must be some mechanism in the human brain to try to figure out acronyms and we all have it.
Because Anno Domini means "Year of the Lord", but historical Jesus is actually believed to have been born between 6 and 4 BCE.
That means AD and BC only makes sense if you're an ignoramus.
Jesus was born on Christmas day 1 AD
Anything else is heresy and I will murder you for it and get a medal from the Pope
You didn't have to point out that you're Catholic.... I'd already called you an ignoramus.
(ooo boy.... here come the chud awards/bans....)
I'm actually an atheist myself
Carp this guy is making fun of Catholics
@PopeMarseyXVI is this true???
I dunno about you guys, but I assume whatever is in The Star Trek Chronology is true.
