I don't know entirely why, but I get really annoyed when people talk about "trickle down economics" like it was Reagan's platform and not a smear term. Reagan/Republicans never claimed to support something by that name.
The other thing that annoys me is that "trickle down economics" actually works, at least in the sense that policies supporting free market behavior tends to make the rich a lot richer but everyone somewhat richer, too. !neolibs

People are an in group species. If you went free market all the way what would happen is rich people would get rich enough that they would stop seeing half the population as people. The ones considered people will 100% get richer over time but every human alive will not be on that list.
