I reject the notion that we Arabs, when we come to Germany, have to accept a share of the German burden for the Holocaust. The Holocaust is not our debt, not our history, not our sin.

tbh it's kinda stupid to pretend otherwise. Holocaust guilt should not be a core tenet of German political culture anyways and the people who want it to be are likely doing so opportunistically, like how in the US guilt over slavery is used to justify various useless government grifts. Demanding that people feel ancestral guilt/debt is fundamentally anti-liberal.
