Megaton amounts of cope in that thread

High profile cases =/= actual statistics. Plenty of people are victims of violence without making the news because "another white Christian man murders wife" doesn't fill an interesting enough narrative to be written about.

Germany like 8 or 9 percent muslims, 20 percent of prison pop. Switzerland is prolly similar. The high profile cases matter, they help explain the animosity.

It explains animosity, but we're talking about whether it's statistically justified here, using our brains and not just feelings.

Prison population is also biased, as being racially profiled leads to increased incarceration. In any case your use of "prolly similar" already shows your bias in lieu of actual stats.

>:soyredditsmugcomputer: You got any statistics, CHUD? Heh, thought so

>:chudsmug: Well, as a matter of fact I do

>:soyredditsmugcomputer: Yeah, well those statistics are WRONG

A comment from Reddit that's stuck with me, is "there are two types of people in the world, people who hate Muslims and people who have actually met a Muslim."
