Is this guy homeless? If he is, then I do feel bad for him. We all have our embarrassing moments, but the rest of us get to have them in private, and the homeless just don't have any privacy, which is a tough thing to go through. So that's pretty rough.
If he's not homeless, then the only person he has to blame for this situation is himself. Nobody made him make these bad choices. I'm sure his friends (if he has any) must have tried to council him on making better life choices.
