Okay I really need help. I've been lifting for a few years, PPL, and I've developed severe upper left trapezius pain. It starts to hurt bad when I walk. Stretching and massaging do nothing. I've had it for a year

Stay away from chiropractors. Look up an orthopedist who specializes in neck or back. The doctor will do tests and diagnose you. If your problem doesn't need surgery you will likely be referred to a physical therapist.
I had my adductor get the same way for years, super tense and painful, felt like an iron rod was in the muscle. Physical therapist recommended dry needling. Two 5 minute sessions of a dude sticking needles into the muscle pressure points (sessions were one week apart) made everything go back to normal.
