Jason Kelce is almost 300 lbs…is he unhealthy? Jordan Davis and Jordan Mailata are well over 300lbs.
A higher weight DOES NOT necessarily directly correlate to being less healthy and a lower weight DOES NOT necessarily directly correlate to being more healthy.
This is such r-slurred thinking. Some linemen are lifer fat butt but that is usually not the case. Shit these days they are pretty trim for 270+, it takes a shit load of work to stay in NFL line shape
Also I bet Jason kelce slims up real quick now that he is retired.
Wilfork is down to 245. A perfect example of what I am talking about. It's really hard to stay in their massive playing weight after they quit playing
Nose is really the only position left in football where carrying a lot of body fat has its advantages. Your goal is swallow blocks and fill running lanes. It's a thankless job unless you are elite like Wilfork or Davis.
O-line guys are fat but not like they used to be. Looking more like 6'5 300
I weigh as much as someone whose spent their entire life playing a position that requires them to be massive, except they work out every day and I do nothing. Obviously, I am healthy
There's a reason you don't see a lot of old powerlifters. 350lbs of muscle is healthier than 350 lbs of fat, but it's still really hard on your joints and circulatory system. NFL players either lose a ton of weight in retirement or are cripples by 45
High level powerlifters tho intentionally neglect cardio a lot and they insane poor diets to meet macro nutrients and often just have too much body% on them. They max strength and not health. Also not to mention the drug abuse they have lo, shit in the past their cycles were insane.
A biggest key takeaway is that high level athletes do not live health lifestyles and in fact most of the cases live a extreme unhealthy lifestyle

Why do Redditors refuse to understand that the exception proves the rule. Fat people == linesmen and intersex == gender is complicated.
