That's not always the case, though. What if they have a health issue that has caused the eight gain? That's the issue I deal with. Horribly injured my back and have had 2 surgeries and need a 3rd. I have permanent nerve damage, and I'm not allowed to exercise because my back has just gotten worse because I reherniated a disc and now have a second one. I was diagnosed with a degenerative disc disease, and that's why my back messed up. If someone judged me just by looking at me, they'd be wrong AND miss out on a nice person. Which people do to each other every day. It's important to know the person first.

every time i was immobile or sick or bedridden or went through a period where i wasn't going out a lot, i lost a considerable amount of weight so i'm not sure why you think you're unable to lose weight because you can't move around alot

No I wouldn't. As someone who has had severe ups and downs in their weight because of medical issues/medication side affects, and who is about 70-100 lbs over what is recommended for my height, I have to be accepted as is. The right person is going to like/love you as is.

I have been attractive woman all my life. My weight fluctuates depending on my mental state. I am an emotional eater and in stress I tend to over eat which results in me putting on about 15-20 kg of weight.
I become invisible to men and women treat me much better.I have accepted this as difficult truth that people will be more into you if you are attractive and are their type physically.

Pretty much. They've all been 'losing weight' for years now and can't ever seem to manage it. They get bfs anyway though so I guess that's the reason for the lack of motivation.

A lot of men are meek these days. They just take whatever they can get and are okay with the status quo of knowing life will never improve. I see relationships around me and a lot of folks decide as a pair on how to handle things. Its dumb. I personally decide every aspect of my wife her life. And she enjoys knowing that she doesnt have to make decisions. I decide about the finances, her studies, job and friends, down to the little things like what we keep in the fridge.
There is a reason men decided for women for centuries. Its also much easier to take blame as a man when a decision goes wrong. Women take every mistake as a personal failure for some reason and it can turn a good wife into a debby downer.
Its not even a religious thing, it just makes sense.
