Making drinks with weird add-ins is an old school soda fountain thing, that's where cherry coke originally came from. My mom said she used to get chocolate cokes as a kid.
The Coke Freestyle machines work on a similar principle. They essentially have the soda syrups for Coke/Sprite etc, then use something akin to a print cartridge to add a mixing flavour.
They had these a while ago at my local Five Guys, local as in 50 miles away but I liked it a lot, and I would mix Coke Peach and Coke Lime and it was really good. It had that sweet peach taste and the sour lime .

ngl, Peach Soda is slept on. We finally got Pepsi Peach in Canada and it unironically tasted like a peach tea with caramel.
