You don't shower in the morning, which is why you smell.  You sweat more than normal while you sleep because you're obese. You also smell bad regularly--not once or twice over the past few months, but every day.  Your boss was being polite.
A light perfume helps, use wet wipes, and shower in the morning.

Personally I prefer to stinkmaxx. It's been two weeks since I last wasted precious water on a shower.
