it doesn't take willpower, it takes knowledge. they think the only two theories of fat are "it's about how much you punish yourself" and "it's just genetic" neither of which is true. fats don't understand that carb intake needs to be regulated far more carefully than fat or protein because that's what spikes insulin and it's the ONLY macronutrient that creates addiction behaviors, and that you can still use carbs as a staple as long as you reduce and build better habits around them.

you probably aren't overeating fat unless you're making yourself sick, and you should have a little more protein than your gut instincts want but not too much more, and it's that simple. you don't even need to worry about fiber really.

how much knowledge does it take to have chicken and rice for dinner a few times a week? it's cheap, it's fast, it's easy you don't even need a working stove if you get a rice cooker with a basket up top you can steam the chicken literally all you need is an outlet and $30 $20.
