I only made it to 9.5 hours. After that I got too hungry and ate 2 bananas, 400ml of juice, 01 fried potato. My weight however still got lower than yesterday. I still feel bad though. Like I should have fought harder. Maybe next time I will get to a 12 hour fast. Fingers crossed.

it's cool you're getting into fasting but I am not sure it is a good long-term weight lose strategy

If it works for you than do it. It’s a mental game. But
It’s sporadic and can be hard to follow long term. Overweight people tend to focus on diet and exercise as transitory states, remember the peloton commercial outrage , and thus even if they lose the weight they revert back to their previous “normal”. Or more likely they just lose the will power because their weight loss program is too hard or too easy. Quick enough to stay motivated but not so difficult you fail early.
Also depriving your body of any/all nutrients for periods of time isn’t so great for you but if it works for you than do it. However, do remember you will have to do it periodically forever. After the first phase of weight loss the best program is one you don’t even feel like you are doing because eating healthy and exercising are part of your life.
When I cut I do about 1/2 lb a day on my plan, but it’s different for everyone. Great to hear you are striving towards health.

I am doing a mix of dieting and dietary changes. Exercise I will likely return to one day again in a few weeks to a month.

most people wouldn't think this when they look at me but my biggest exercise is walking not even running. I just read an ebook and walk several miles without even sweating and burn a 1/4 of a lb.
