I'm sorry that you're so against codependency, but that doesn't mean that everyone else is. Some of us actually enjoy having close relationships with our dogs, and don't see anything wrong with it. If you don't want a codependent dog mom, that's fine, but don't try to tell everyone else that they shouldn't be one.
