I calmly explained that zionism is the belief in the jewish homeland more or less, that people simply switching the word “jew” for “zionist” is nothing but a ploy to hide their antisemitism.

and where is that homeland supposed to be?

Number 3 is so real. I went on a tinder date with an Argentinian, my profile did not make it clear I was Jewish, and mid date the guy started bragging about how his grandpa was a Nazi and how proud his family was of it and how “a lot of Argentinians” hate Americans because of how the US pressured Argentina to join the Allies. I was like “….my grandparents are Jews and one of them was a Holocaust survivor” and he said “oh that's a real shame” and got up and left without paying for his drinks. Awkward af and I had to pay for an antisemite to get a buzz on.

How are so many Jewish people just "happening" upon all of these "antisemitic" people all the time in real life? I know like 3 genuinely antisemitic people IRL. Reading posts like this you'd think they're everywhere.
