I tend to double fry fresh fries. So using frozen skips the cutting and first fry and cool. Also many restaurants use once fried frozen fries and fry them again and it turns out great.
ngl i just bake em. cutting is the only part that i find tedious. i probably won't purchase frozen in the future, and tbh i forgot why i did in the first pace.
Fair, frozen fries are real hit or miss. Without a convection oven I wouldn't bother with them tbh. Best to just use fresh potatoes to make fries or other potato dishes.
