What does it taste like?

The first time I had Thai curry, it blew my mind because it didn't taste like anything else I'd ever eaten. So you're in for a surprise if that's the case. There's nothing weird about it though, it's just a bunch of really strong spices, fish sauce, coconut milk, and lime juice.

Probably no cilantro? I have the stinkbug gene :marseysick: Doesn’t seem to have it based on the wiki.

I think drunken noodles are the front runner but my dad usually gets a curry, he might be willing to try. :marseyhmm:

I don't think they'd put cilantro on the curry. Don't order the appetizer soups though, those will probably have a bunch in there.

Thanks for the tips

Thai curries tend to have cilantro roots in them, which is both very aromatic, hardy so it doesn't lose its flavor when cooked and doesn't have the soapy flavor the leaves and stems have.

THAT'S THE WORST CURRY WTF. HOW DOES NO ONE ELSE SEE THIS. THAI GREEN CURRY IS THE WORST ONE!!! PANANG > MASUMAN > YELLOW > RED > GREEN. HOLY SHIT! WTF!

My favorite is red curry with pineapple and shrimp but some places make it way too sweet. I just want chunks of pineapple to interact with the spiciness, not the juice.

Panang if my second favorite cause it's just red curry with peanut.

This sounds like the front runner, how spicy does it tend to be (t. :marseymayo: )

Jump in the discussion.

about as spicy or not spicy as any stir fry. just ask for your comfort level or be cool and get 1 down from spiciest

Jump in the discussion.

I always get the highest spiciness. Thai spice is so good and never makes me get indigestion like some hot sauces can.

I could probably handle highest, but I like to play it safe unless I know what I’m getting myself into

Mm fair enough. If your restaurant has Spicy Catfish it’s totally worth the price. You can also go for old reliable red curry with golden tofu. Both are fricking amazing :marseybeandrool:
