I’m not going to say my quad rail is as light as a lo pro Mlok rail, but I’ve had so many issues with mlok and accessories interfering with the gas block I’ve pretty much sworn them off. The Daniel defense quad rails are lighter than you would expect since the barrel nut is 1/4 the the size you expect. The 13.9” mid profile barrel with the can is contributing waaaay more to weight up front. That’s why I balance it out with a big butt a in the back lol. Love this gun. Probably going to get the same acog that’s battery powered to work with my nods and stick an aimpoint acro on top of that

Interesting. Which gas block do you use? I use a tunable superlative arms block and after tuning buffer weight and gas release, its smooth. Also lets me switch “parts” and it still runs smooth with a slight shift in gas release.

My man. Superlative all the way. I use adm reliability enhanced buffers and sprinco buffer springs.

Im using a geissele h3 buffer for the eventual suppression and the matching twisted spring from them. I don’t recall what its called.

It’s a pretty good spring. I used to use theirs to stop bolt bounce on a shorter build I have. The adm buffer is h2 weight but has a lot more reciprocating weight. The sprinco springs are super nice too. They have lots of options to tune your gun just right. I usually use the blues on 556 ar-15’s and the red on sbr 556 builds

I’ll probably hit you up, I have a few people around me that own a LOT of self built firearms but I feel like we all get into a circlejerk sometimes. All mine are also completely custom by me but I feel an outside opinion could be useful.
