Ya that is my main issue with sous vide. I switched to food grade silicone bags that are stable :marseybutt2: ~550f

What's wrong with sous vide? I've never done it but isn't it meant to be basically 100% consistent at cooking food to the right temp?

Tbh I don't pay attention to whatever the latest food related evils are, I just eat decent food and figure that's gonna be healthier than what 99% of people are eating, so I'm realistically gonna be fine. Not saying microplastics or seed oils or whatever aren't bad for you, I just don't care to spend time worrying about that stuff
