If you thunk about it for just a singular second you'd realize that putting the whole bread in the dish is fricking r-slurred
This mushes the whole bread, how exactly do you plan to eat it now? Just lift the soggy wheat blob with a fork?
It's supposed to be partially in, just le tip, so that you can then dip more of the FRESH bread and eat it the moment it absorbs the flavor.. not a slob of nasty bread mush that's disintegrating in your bowl.
