Air fryers are just hyper-efficient convection ovens but they're superior to ovens when crisping or searing and they're also great for reheating battered food that you'd normally toss because soggy.

I have a Foodi Ninja that doubles as a pressure cooker and it's pretty versatile. If you have an immersion circulator as well, you can do a lot with little space.
